Mayssa Jallad & Fishgirl live at Metro

 

Mayssa Jallad is a singer-songwriter based in Beirut. Her first solo album Marjaa: The Battle of the Hotels speaks of skyscrapers and their military control at the beginning of the Lebanese Civil War. She will be presenting it in its solo form at Metro on March 6th.

 

Fishgirl is a guitar-driven collective with a rotating roster crafting slow, immersive music at the intersection of drone, ambient, contemporary classical and noise."
