After two strong editions, Metro Al Madina welcomes back Frequent Defect for a third collaboration on the Grime and Punishment series.

For this edition, Yasmeen, DAO, Junior and Bakisa will come together for another extended exploration of bass-driven sounds.

Celebrating music as cultural phenomena, this series reveres the weird cornucopia that is grime, the grubby energy of UK garage, and the more recent revival in the regional sphere. Perceived as a direct untainted and reactive reflection of modern societies and cultures, we're keen to hear what the commentary on the present situation will be.

Expect trap, grime, bass, jungle, hip hop, rap, footwork, limb work and all kinds of work.
