Tarboush Jedde Maallak | ‎طرّبوش جدي معلّق

Set between 1980 and 2025, Tarboush Jedde Maallak tells the story of Hala, who leaves, and Ibrahim, who stays, two lovers torn apart by war, exile, and hope.

As Hala navigates life in Paris, Montreal, and Dubai, she always carries Lebanon with her. Her returns are filled with hope, yet always met with disappointment. Ibrahim remains rooted in a country that 

constantly pushes its people away, yet somehow he never loses faith. And still, how many chances can someone give to the same dream?

Because Lebanon is more than politics, it is memory, it is identity, it is a love story.
