Synopsis

At the age of 12, Jacques is more than six feet tall while his friends are 12 to 15 inches shorter. This morning, the traditional class photo is being taken. The photographer tries to create a harmonious and symmetrical frame, according to the rules of art. But how can one integrate Jacques in the same frame than the others?

Synopsis
When he has to contact an American official in the French capital, Monsieur Hulot finds himself perplexed by the complexity of a gadget-filled Paris. He gets lost in the city’s maze of modern architecture, and roams around with some American tourists, ending up causing a lot of chaos.
Un groupe de touristes américains débarque à Paris pour visiter la capitale. Pendant ce temps, M. Hulot se rend dans les bureaux d’une grande entreprise pour y passer un entretien, mais finit par se perdre dans l’immensité du bâtiment. Au gré de ses déambulations et de ses rencontres, M. Hulot va se trouver embarqué dans ce Paris ultramoderne où sa route croisera immanquablement celle des Américaines…
