In the Deaf world, and that of tailors, it is the hands which weave the narrative thread.
In the Deaf world and in the fifth month of pregnancy, three women merges forming the first bond. Fertile, yet loud and drowning.
Handed down a worn-out lineage thread, a hearing girl is born, carrying the weight of women who lost their voice, right at the edge of both worlds.
This is the story of never-resting hands, preserving through generations, a legacy of motherhood, belonging, and threads of suspended dreams.
A True story from a girl born into the Deaf community.
Written, Directed and performed by Nai'la Al Hares.
