Synopsis

A poverty-stricken farmer, escaping his barren village, is drafted into the French army during WWII. Later, he passionately joins the fight for his country’s liberation from French colonialism.

 يروي الفيلم، من خلال مصير أحمد، الفلاح الجزائري، صحوة شعب مضطهد وصولاً إلى اندلاع حرب الاستقلال سنة 1954، في مزيج من الملحمة التاريخية والدراما الإنسانية والسعي نحو الحرية الوطنية.
