في شقة متواضعة في بيروت، ينتظر برهوم وعيود، وهما زوجان متقاعدان، عودة ابنهما من الاغتراب. من خلال الذكريات الحميمية، والمشاكسات اليومية، ولحظات الصمود الهادئة، يستعيدان معًا محطات من حياتهما المشتركة ومن تاريخ لبنان المضطرب. تتنقل المسرحية بين الحاضر واسترجاعات إلى سبعينيات وثمانينيات القرن الماضي، لتتناول الحب والفقدان والوحدة والحاجة الإنسانية العميقة إلى التواصل. وتتحول رحلتهما الشخصية إلى مرآة للذاكرة الجماعية والقوة والأمل.

In a modest Beirut apartment, Barhoum and Ayoud, a retired elderly couple, await the return of their son from abroad. Through tender memories, playful quarrels, and moments of quiet resilience, they revisit their shared life and Lebanon’s turbulent past. Moving between the present and flashbacks to the 1970s and 1980s, the play explores love, loss, loneliness, and the enduring human need for connection. Their intimate journey becomes a reflection of collective memory, strength, and hope.
