Moon presents
Maud Zeinoun (Solo) followed by Charbel Haber (Solo)
Maud Zeinoun is a Beirut-based singer, songwriter, and producer whose work explores themes of mental health, rupture, and recovery. With a background in cinema, she initially developed her sonic language by layering film monologues, field recordings, and noise textures to shape narrative soundscapes that reflect her emotional dissonance. Influenced by post-punk, darkwave, and electronic music, her practice gradually evolved toward mechanically driven rhythms and basslines that operate as melodic and structural foundations. Her vocal performances shift between fragility and surreal personas, creating a subtle sense of dislocation and play. On October 31, 2025, Maud released her debut album, For the Waves I Rode / And the Ones That Broke Inside Me, through Ruptured Records—a continuum of survival and the quiet persistence of hope.
Charbel Haber is a Lebanese musician, composer, and artist whose work explores memory, decay, and the unstable afterlives of sound in a region shaped by rupture and continuity. A central figure in Lebanon’s experimental and alternative music scenes since the late 1990s, he has developed a practice that moves across composition, improvisation, film, and performance, weaving together the intimate and the political, the archival and the speculative.
Based between Beirut and Paris, Haber continues to operate at the intersection of experimental music and contemporary art, contributing to a translocal network of artists who have redefined the possibilities of sound in and beyond Lebanon.
