Chi Tayib (Something Yum)

A stand-up show by Rula Korban, inspired by her life, travels, environment,

contradictions, and childhood traumas.

From war shelters as a little girl, to superstitious neighbors, shitty jobs, toxic

relationships, and eventually marrying someone from a whole different flavor of

dysfunction.

An emotional, brutally honest, wildly self-aware show that makes us laugh at

the issues we’ve made peace with, and laugh even harder at the ones that are

still wrecking our lives.

من ملاجئ الحرب هي و صغيرة، لجيرانها، للشغل بمحلا ّ ت ما بتتمنّاها لعدوّك، للعلاقات
التوكسيك والزواج من شخص جايي من خلفيّة تخلّف مختلفة كليّاً عن خلفيّة تخلّفها.
عرض عاطفي، ذكي، وصريح للآخر، بيخلينا نضحك على عقدنا يلي تصالحنا معها, و نضحك
اكتر عالعقد يلي بعدها هارية نعمتنا.
