City Tour: Tripoli!

 

This time, we embark on a city tour of a well-known Lebanese city, offering a unique perspective on Tripoli.

 

Our exploration of Tripoli commences at the citadel, where a comprehensive explanation of its history and architecture awaits, followed by a thorough tour of the citadel itself.

 

Descending the staircase, we'll reach the Historical Access and proceed to The New Bath, Mansouri Mosque, the Jewelry Souk, Gypsy Bath (Hammam el Nouri), and Khan el Saboun. We'll then trace our steps along the Historical Path to visit The Taylor’s Khan (Khan el Khayyateen) and The Egyptian Khan (Khan el Masriyyeen).

 

Continuing our journey, we'll have a distant view of Bortassieh mosque and school before exploring Souk el Haraj and Soldier’s Khan (Khan el 3askar).

 

To conclude our city exploration, we'll head to a local restaurant where a delectable Tripoli-style meal awaits before returning to Beirut.

 

Note: We may have the opportunity to visit the Rachid Karame Exhibition Center and take a tour inside.

Visite de la ville: Tripoli

 

Cette fois-ci, nous nous lançons dans une visite guidée d'une ville libanaise bien connue, offrant une perspective unique sur Tripoli.

 

Notre exploration de Tripoli commence à la citadelle, où une explication détaillée de son histoire et de son architecture vous attend, suivie d'une visite approfondie de la citadelle elle-même.

 

En descendant l'escalier, nous atteindrons l'Accès Historique et nous dirigerons vers The New Bath, puis la Mosquée Mansouri, le Souk de la Joaillerie, le Hammam el Nouri (le Hammam des Gitans), Khan el Saboun, puis retournerons au Chemin Historique afin d'atteindre le Khan de Taylor (Khan el Khayyateen) et le Khan égyptien (Khan el Masriyyeen).

 

De là, vous continuerez à voir, de loin, la mosquée et l'école de Bortassieh. Ensuite, vous visiterez le Souk el Haraj et le Khan des Soldats (Khan el 3askar).

 

Pour conclure notre exploration de la ville, nous nous rendrons dans un restaurant local où un délicieux repas à la mode de Tripoli nous attend avant de retourner à Beyrouth.

 

Remarque : Nous pourrions avoir l'opportunité de visiter le Centre d'exposition Rachid Karame et faire un tour à l'intérieur.
