Emerging from
the Paris electronic music scene, Wael Alkak is a Paris-based musician,
producer, singer,and pioneer of the Electro-Chaâbi movement, delivering
immersive solo live performances that bridge
contemporary electronic production with Syrian, Levantine and Arab musical
heritage. Damascus-born and active across Europe since 2013, he began
experimenting with digital audio workstations early in his career, creating one
of the first projects to fuse traditional Chaâbi melodies with modern
electronic production.
Taradud is a Syrian DJ and
producer based in Berlin. His sound weaves layered percussion, distorted subs,
and Arabic heritage into a genre-blurring mix of club edits and driving
grooves. He is also the founder of TAKSEER, a Berlin platform highlighting innovative
expressions from the region and their global intersections.
Mohamed
Choucair is a multidisciplinary artist specialized in film and audio, well-practiced as per former and music industry professional. Moe co-founded the
Ballroom Blitz, a multi-room music venue by night and open house for artists by day and directed the space with an attentive eye on curation, communication,
and creative direction up until 2024. He performs under diverse monikers, most
notably his latest projects: Bakisa, and No Breakfast Club. He animated many
clubs and platforms under jack the fish, including two Boiler Room sessions and
a Mixmag focus.
