Irish Director, Seán Murray investigates Israel’s brutal ethnic cleansing of Lebanon and the ongoing targeted killings of journalists. While also detailing the wider policy of ‘Journacide’ in Gaza, Murray reflects on his own childhood in Belfast and the importance of storytelling as a weapon of resistance.

Synopsis

خلال الحرب في لبنان، يحمل أحد عناصر الإسعاف كاميرا إلى جانب معدّاته الطبية. لكن عند وصول النداء، يضطر إلى إطفاء الكاميرا ليصبح مسعفًا. من خلال ما صوّره وما عجز عن تصويره، يستكشف الفيلم الصراع بين أن تكون شاهدًا، وموثّقًا، ومنقذًا للأرواح.

During the war in Lebanon, an ambulance responder carries a camera alongside his medical equipment. But when the call comes, he must put the camera down and become a rescuer. Through his footage and the moments he could not film, the documentary explores the conflict between witnessing, documenting, and saving lives.
