Thank you for helping us in our pledge to support the Lebanese National Higher Conservatory of Music. This performance features the award winning Swedish Stenhammar Quartet, PER OMAN (Violin), MATS OLOFSSON (Cello), TONY BAUER (Viola) and PETER OLOFSSON (Violin) in a program highlighting works by Stenhammar, Ravel, Beethoven as well as a world premiere piece by the Lebanese composer Houtaf Khoury. The quartet will be performing from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, live and in high definition on Les Musicales de Baabdath Facebook page.

Proceeds of donations will be allocated to buy string sets, accessories, sound equipment and musical instruments the chamber music departments and student orchestras of the Lebanese National Conservatory of Music as well as for the Conservatory orchestras.

Part of the ‘STRINGS OF HOPE 2020’ initiative created by Les Musicales de Baabdath in response to the critical social, economic, and humanitarian crises hitting Lebanon, the concert is free of charge and meant to offer a moment of bliss by spreading music’s positive vibes.

The concert is made possible thanks to the support of the Embassy of Sweden in Lebanon. The performance will start with an introductory word by H.E Ambassador of Sweden to Lebanon, Mrs. Ann Dismorr.
