2026 marque le centenaire de la naissance du réalisateur polonais Andrzej Wajda. Au BAFF, nous célébrons cet anniversaire avec un film-rétrospective consacré à son œuvre.

Polonais, ce n'est pas une nationalité, c'est un destin. Quelques mois avant sa disparition, le maître du cinéma polonais revient, avec une lucidité et une générosité exceptionnelles, sur les scènes majeures de ses films. Entre confidences de cinéaste, leçons de mise en scène et plongée dans l’histoire politique de l’Europe de l’Est, Andrzej Wajda livre un témoignage unique sur son art et sur un siècle tourmenté. Conçu avec Wajda lui-même, ce film constitue son ultime leçon de cinéma et son testament artistique.

يصادف العام 2026 ذكرى مئة عام على ولادة المخرج البولندي أندريه فايدا، التي نحتفل بها في مهرجان بيروت للأفلام الفنية مع فيلمٍ يسترجع أعماله الفنية.

"أن تكون بولنديًا ليس جنسيةً تحملها، بل قدرًا تعيشه." قبل بضعة أشهرٍ على رحيله، أعاد رائد السينما البولندية النظر في أشهر مشاهده السينمائية، بعينٍ واعيةٍ وأفقٍ واسعٍ. وبين فضفضةٍ من المخرج ودروس مستقاةٍ من عالم الإخراج وغوصٍ في التاريخ السياسي في أوروبا الشرقية، قدّم أندريه فايدا شهادةً لا تتكرّر عن فنّه وعن قرنٍ مثقلٍ بالأحداث. فايدا نفسه شارك في التخطيط لهذا العمل الذي شكّل آخر دروسه عن السينما ووصيةً منه في عالم الفن.
