Synopsis

في جبال لبنان الممطرة، تقود عايدة سيارتها باتجاه منزل عائلي شبه متروك، لتجد هناك زوجها وليد، العائد للتو من اغترابه الطويل، والذي لم يكن يتوقع حضورها. على مدى أربعة أيام، يحاول الزوجان فهم بعضهما ومواجهة ما تبقّى من علاقتهما. هل بقي ما يمكن إنقاذه؟

On a rainy evening, Aida drives up to the Lebanese mountains and unlocks an empty family house. Only Walid, her husband who has been living abroad for years, is not expecting to find her there. Temporarily reunited in the same space, they face the status of their lives together and apart. Is there anything left to be saved?

Dead Dog is a measured dissection of a marriage that is simultaneously breathing and decomposing.

Par une soirée pluvieuse, Aïda sillonne les montagnes libanaises et ouvre la porte d’une maison familiale vide. Walid, son mari qui vit à l’étranger depuis des années, est surpris de la trouver là. Temporairement réunis dans le même espace, ils se retrouvent confrontés à l’état de leur vie commune et de leurs vies séparées. Reste-t-il encore quelque chose à sauver ?

Dead Dog est la dissection mesurée d’un mariage qui respire et se décompose tout à la fois.
