We promised you picturesque hikes in the Chouf, and we always deliver on our promises. This time, we're embarking on a scenic journey from Worhanieh to Nabeh el Safa.

This beautiful hike follows the mountain ridge, offering stunning views of the surrounding region. Starting from Worhanieh, the trail winds along the cliffs to Freidis, then continues through Kafra, Victoria, Bmehray, and finally reaches Nabeh el Safa.

The vistas along the way are truly breathtaking, with sights including the Cedar reserve of Ain Zhalta, the Dahr el Baidar bridge, and the majestic peaks of Sannine and Kneiseh.

This hike is rated as moderate, with Level 5 covering a distance of approximately 9 kilometers.

We'll conclude our hike with a leisurely stroll through the city to a charming tree house, where local villagers will prepare a traditional lunch for us. It will be a wonderful opportunity to gather together and enjoy some memorable moments.

There will be a breakfast stop along the way.

PRICE: 60$ per person including transport, guides, reserve entrance, insurance and lunch.

WHAT TO GET: Light snacks that will boost up your energy such as dried fruits, water, cap, sunglasses and sunscreen. Wear comfortable shoes such as hiking shoes and always keep a windproof jacket in your backpack.

SPECIAL RATES:

- Children with the age of 10 and younger will have a discount of 5$.

- Children/ Teenagers between the age of 11 and 18 will have a discount of 4$.

- University students will have a discount of 3$ provided that they present their university card.

- Groups with 5 to 9 persons, with different criteria than the above, will get a 2$ discount.

- Groups with 10 or more persons, with different criteria than the above, will get a 3$ discount.

PAYMENT TERMS:

- Cancellation with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged half-price.

- Reservations with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged an extra 2$.

(e.g. Cancelling or booking for a Sunday’s event on Saturday will be subject to the above terms).

ESSENTIAL ECOTOURISTIC RULES & REGULATIONS

- Smoking is strictly prohibited during the event

- Always follow the guide on the designated trail

- Do not go off road without notifying the guide

- Do not get close to a cliff especially when the guide in charge tells you not to do so

- Although accidents are covered by the insurance but they remain under the responsibility of the member

- Sometimes, due to reasons beyond our control, slight modifications to the program may occur. Ecotourism rules must be followed, otherwise personal accidents will not be accounted for by the insurance.

Randonnée

Nous vous avons promis des randonnées pittoresques dans le Chouf, et nous tenons toujours nos promesses. Cette fois, nous allons marcher de Worhanieh à Nabeh el Safa.

C'est une belle randonnée le long du sommet de la montagne, offrant une vue magnifique sur la région. Partant de Worhanieh, vous marcherez le long des falaises jusqu'à Freidis, puis jusqu'à Kafra, Victoria, Bmehray et enfin jusqu'à Nabeh el Safa.

Les vues sont à couper le souffle. Vous aurez l'occasion de voir la réserve de cèdres d'Ain Zhalta, le pont de Dahr el Baidar, les montagnes de Sannine et de Kneiseh.

Niveau modéré :

Le niveau 5 suivra un chemin d'environ 9 km de long.

Nous terminerons notre randonnée par une petite promenade en ville jusqu'à une petite cabane dans les arbres confortable où les villageois prépareront un déjeuner traditionnel. Ce sera une merveilleuse occasion de nous rassembler et de partager des moments inoubliables.

A EMPORTER:  Légers snacks tels que des fruits secs pour vous redonner de l’énergie. Un sac à dos avec eau, chapeau, lunettes de soleil et écran solaire. Vous porterez des chaussures de randonnée ou de bonnes chaussures de marche. Vous aurez toujours avec vous dans votre sac à dos, un coupe-vent.

TARIFS SPECIAUX: 

-  Enfants jusqu’à 10 ans profiteront d’un escompte de 5$.

-  Enfants et adolescents de 11 à 18 ans profiteront d’un escompte de 4$.

-  Etudiants universitaires profiteront d’un escompte de 3$ sur présentation de leur carte d’étudiant.

-  Groupes de 5 à 9 personnes, selon critères autres que ci-dessus, profiteront d’un escompte de 2$.

CONDITIONS DE PAIEMENT:

- Annulation de la réservation dans un délai de moins de 24 heures, la moitié du prix sera exigée.

- Réservation dans un délai de moins de 24 heures, un supplément de 2$ sera ajouté au prix.

ex: annulation ou réservation pour le programme du dimanche, le samedi, les conditions ci-dessus seront appliquées.

REGLES D’ECOTOURISME ESSENTIELLES ET REGLEMENT

- Interdiction de fumer durant l’événement.

- Toujours suivre le guide sur le chemin indiqué.

- Ne pas emprunter un chemin sans en avertir le guide.

- Ne pas s’approcher d’une falaise, particulièrement quand le guide dit de ne pas le faire.

- Bien que les accidents soient couverts par l’assurance, la responsabilité du membre est toujours engagée.

- Parfois, pour des raisons indépendantes de notre volonté de légères modifications pourront être apportées à notre programme.

- Les règles d’Ecotourisme doivent toujours être respectées. Dans le cas contraire, en cas d’accident, l’assurance ne pourrait pas vous prendre en charge.
